Oblique Shock Prandtl Meyer: OBLIQUE SHOCK M8.0
5 to 40
Oblique shock wave angles and Prandtl-Meyer expansion function for supersonic and hypersonic flow. Covers two record types: (1) PRANDTL_MEYER — nu(M) expansion angle and Mach angle mu(M) for Mach 1.0–10.0; (2) OBLIQUE_SHOCK — weak and strong shock angles, downstream Mach number, and pressure ratio for each (M1, deflection angle) combination, Mach 1.0–10.0, deflection angles 5–40 degrees. gamma=1.4 throughout.
| flow type | sort key num | M2 strong (dimensionless) | M2 weak (dimensionless) | deflection angle deg (deg) | gamma (dimensionless) | mach number (dimensionless) | max deflection angle deg (deg) | p2 over p1 strong (dimensionless) | p2 over p1 weak (dimensionless) | strong shock angle deg (deg) | weak shock angle deg (deg) |
