NASA Sp8089 Injector Elements
Injector element type comparison from NASA SP-8089 Tables II, III, and IV. Each record describes one element type (e.g. unlike doublet, concentric tube, pintle) for a given propellant phase (liquid/liquid or gas/liquid), with advantages, disadvantages, design correlations, and known engine applications. Five records from Table IV carry the mixing factor M used in the optimum orifice diameter ratio equation (Eq. 1, SP-8089 p.20).
