About ASTM A516 pressure vessel plate

A516 is the standard carbon steel plate for moderate-temperature pressure vessels. Grades 55, 60, 65, and 70 differ in tensile strength (in ksi). Grade 70 is the most common for shells and heads in ASME boilers and pressure vessels.
