Looks up NACA airfoil aerodynamic coefficients (Cl, Cd, Cm) at a given angle of attack via interpolation. Optionally computes lift, drag, L/D ratio, and Reynolds number for a finite wing given span, chord, velocity, and altitude.

Airfoil Id*

NACA airfoil designation as stored in the reference table. Examples: 'NACA 0012', 'NACA 2412', 'NACA 23015'. Must match the airfoil_id in the database exactly.

Angle Of Attack Deg*

Angle of attack in degrees. Typical range: -5 to 20. Stall occurs around 12-18 deg for most airfoils. The tool interpolates between tabulated AoA values.

Wing Span M

Wing span in meters for finite-wing analysis. Required together with wing_chord_m and velocity_m_s to compute lift, drag, and Reynolds number. Recommended: enables lift/drag force, L/D ratio, and Reynolds number calculations.

Wing Chord M

Wing mean aerodynamic chord in meters. Used with span to compute wing area and aspect ratio for induced drag correction. Recommended: enables wing area, aspect ratio, and Reynolds number calculations.

Velocity M S

Freestream velocity in meters per second. Used to compute dynamic pressure, Reynolds number, and aerodynamic forces on the wing. Recommended: enables dynamic pressure and aerodynamic force calculations.

Altitude M

Flight altitude in meters above sea level for ISA air density calculation. Valid for troposphere: 0-11,000 m. Defaults to sea level if omitted.
